I had to make a new nut for the Korina H137.

The A and the D slots were all jacked up.

I have a couple really old bone nut blanks, so I made a new nut for it myself.

I’m very happy with how it turned out.

I use nut sauce but ran out recently so went back to graphite dust . Not sure I can tell a difference but the big bendz nut sauce was eas to apply. I might have missed it Brent but what are you using?

Yes. I’m using big bends. The guy that invented that is from my hometown. Plainwell Michigan. Look on the label. Good stuff.

That looks really, really nice. When I started slapping partscasters together, I found that I really liked non-locking trems. That meant I had to learn how to slot and groove a nut and trouble shoot any binding or tuning issues. It’s like anything else - a learning curve! I butchered several blanks along the way, but feel decent in my ability to get a nice looking finished product that stays in tune. You did a great job on this one for sure.

Forget about your nuts . Your pictures are what sell your stuff . I need to fine tune my game on that for 2023.
