I think it's super awesome to be able to have them all side by side like that. I don't know how long it took you, but thanks for going through the process.

Thanks for this! I gotta say, there's not much that can beat the JCM 800.

I thought the JVM OD1 might be close (I used to have one), but it is definitely thinner sounding.

When I saw that video of the comparison between the reissue Jubilee and an original, the original just had so much more body.
Funny how that mojo just can't be recaptured.

VH4 didn't sound too shabby. I'd love if you could mix that and a Marshall Super Lead. I can see why they'd make a good combo.

Wow, great comparison! Thanks for putting in the time and posting. In this format, I'd have to go with the Cobra FTW. I also LOVED the SLO, Blackmore, JCM and Archon. And of course, all Fortin Marshalls kill. Nicely done, sir!

Amazing job! Thanks for all the hard work getting this recorded and uploaded.

The Framus, VH4, and Archon were my favorites, but the Fortin-modded Marshalls were amazing, too.

Loved the Mesa and Archon tone. Was honestly surprised at how "meh" the SLO sounded...especially considering its price point.

awesome dude thats great..if you mixed the uber with a slo its gonna be heavenly!, they all sound decent though ..vh4 is right up there

Thanks a lot Lasse, this is a GREAT comparison.

Like some others, I also think the Rectifier sounds insanely good. That, the Driftwood and maybe the Krank were my faves. Though really a lot of them were awesome.

I was surprised that the Krank sounds quite similar to the Driftwood except a bit tighter and somewhat "less exciting" (but not necessarily in a bad way). Very cool tone actually.

Were there any surprises for you in doing this?

Yeah me too... heard it sound great before, not sure what was going on here haha

Interesting.... the Blackmore is a lot more modern sounding than i would have thought...
