Actually I prefaced my flower posts with me not knowing shit about flowers. Trees and shrubs were how I used to make my living.

This mother fucker here is a tough bastard. It's been severely damaged by a storm and when it was young it was submerged in flood waters. Never expected it to make it. Hummingbirds and Eastern Bluebirds love it.

I studied Horticulture and Forestry under Dennis Ryan for 2 years if that means anything to you
So are you saying that what I said meant something to you ? I'm not being philosophical dipstick.

Full disclosure the only reason I know shit about the difference in the flowers is because my wife just told me about it this morning.

Hydrangeas naturally have conical flowers, so I would agree that if they are starting to go back to their natural shape, the tree is indeed healing/repairing itself.

Also because I can’t help myself, your tree is technically a shrub, or bush as you said, it was just trained to have a single stem instead of multi to look like a tree.

It was sold to her as as a tree. We assumed the serious damage it incurred stunted it. I want to say this shrub/tree/bush has been in the ground there for 15 or 20 years.

Also, my wife said this morning that she was asked whether it had round or conical flowers and there was always some difficulty in determining it. It was kind of ambiguous. Until this year.

Tree Hydrangea is a trade name so they weren’t lying to you or anything, but in terms of ever reading up on care or best practices, its the same as a panicled hyrandgea shrub.

It might not be too happy if that part of the yard tends to hold water.
It also likes a little acidity you ever want to grab a bag of holly tone

No water issues other than when the river floods. 2008, 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2024 there was maybe a foot of water on the ground for a few days to a week depending on the year. 2017 it was a couple feet.

I think she put something on it this year which is probably why it perked up. Holly Tone eh ? I'll mention it to her. Thanks.

Couldn’t hurt to prune it back pretty good this winter. Hydrangeas usually flower off new growth so the more you encourage it to put out new shoots the more potential for flowers.

She claims to not be that into it. Says the plants all have to conform to her habits or die. Rarely does she kill them though so she must have some kinda clue. She’s out on the other side fucking with shit right now. lol. I’ll mention the pruning it back too. I’m pretty sure she doesn’t normally do that.

I went out there and told her what you said. She said there weren't really enough flowers to tell what kind of Hydrangea it was before. She also told me all hydrangeas are bushes, these are trained to look like trees and that I'm a dumbass.

Now maybe you understand why I compare your arguing style to hers. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I feel like you are better than this
And i think you know you are better than this
2005 Howard Stern Interview: In an April 2005 interview on The Howard Stern Show, Trump, who owned the Miss Universe Organization (including Miss USA and Miss Teen USA), bragged about entering pageant dressing rooms, stating, “I’ll go backstage before a show and everyone’s getting dressed, and everything else, and you know, no men are anywhere, and I’m allowed to go in because I’m the owner of the pageant and therefore I’m inspecting it… You know, they’re standing there with no clothes… And so I sort of get away with things like that."
