George, you have one?!?!?!?!?!?

I must have it.

I have Ivan's disk, it is very good

I have tons of formite disks and enjoy them all, esp the ones that I followed being created while on the forums. All of my current guitar heros come from here on the boards, some monster players that I am proud of knowing and talking to everyday.

Heads up for those wanting some serious shit not pimped.................................pm Mike Fortin about his disk  My builder fucking smokes :D
Yep....have a few copies left, hot sellers they were.  Not a great recording by any means, but they were some fun songs to play. I think there are some tunes up on Myspace, if that is still up :)

Fast Food World. Thats funny you remembered the cover, but yeah thats the one.  That Subway will never be the same. :)

It really didnt take too long to learn that solo other than listening thru all that fx on his gtr. His stuff really isnt too hard to figure out. Most of his stuff is pretty linear, just pretty fast.

BTW: what is your disc? Band or solo or?

Band (3 bands ago at that). Regular rock (last song could be considered Hard Rock though) with solos on every song :D Now that I think of it, here are the memorable parts during tracking: The producer told me to stop doing that "guitar hero vibrato" every time I tracked a solo. Early on, I busted him tracking me via Amplitube instead of my TriAxis/2:90 rig because I channel switched in real time as opposed doing the cleans first then, the dirties. He never had me patched through amplitube again for the duration of tracking :gethim:

He did coax good performances out of all of us though and he made sure I played appropriately through all of the songs. He wanted what was best for the CD. Great experience. The moral of the story when dealing with mainstream professionals is they'd prefer you go direct and love for you to just use their plugins instead of your amp but, Ivan don't play that

cool thread, now I have to get a paper route to save up to buy all these discs! It's cool to hear all the great talent on this forum.

I have a metal cd which isn't really representative of what I am working on these days.

Mine is with my band, REVERY. It's called Avarice & Absolution, and is available on Itunes currently. We were on the radio back in 2006 (the 53rd most played song all over the country with our single Popstar Wedding). Toured with Candlebox, gigged with 3 Doors Down, Shinedown, Fuel, Def Leppard, Sevendust, Dark New Day, Soil, and others. We even had an article done on us in Metal Edge. It was sweet, until our label started bouncing checks and we sued them for breach of contract.

We're still making music, but we are unsigned, and will likely stay that way.

I'm proud of the CD though! Check it out if you like rock along the lines of Velvet Revolver, The Cult, etc.
