Looking to switch between two amps on one cab. I am completely new in this area so any recommendations will be great.

That's pretty much it I think. A few guys are gonna say Lehle and a few are gonna say Radial. Just like clockwork.  Would be kinda cool to have either. Oooh, I bet your Cali and 5150 would play real nice together.

Are you using effects, that will be driven by the selected amp?

The radial has issues with effects--read the manuals first.

+1

The only 2 amp selectors on the market that I would trust my precious amps through and feel safe are

The Custom Audio Electronics switcher (This is the one I use)

And

Skrydstrup R&D AS44 Switcher

I heard that Suhr is working on putting one out, but don't think it's currently available.

Egnater used to have one, but is no longer producing them. You might find a used one out there

I use a noise gate and OD pedal in the signal chain and my delay through the amp's effects loop.

Then do NOT use ANY of the suggested switchers, but the ones I mentioned, or when you switch heads, the ongoing delay in the loop of your amp will make your amp go POOF along w/ the switcher, as it doesn't put a LOAD on the unused amp.

Still waiting on my Bradshaw amp switcher/interface. Been about 3 years now.

I think it takes a while to build the ones for semi loads of amps.

To the OP, don't say I didn't warn you.

He wants to switch between two heads and one cab. Lehle don't make a product for that (unless there is something new out). About the only pedal you can use is a Radial Headbone. As far as racked hardware, like the Guv said - Bradshaw, or Eggie is about it. You need a product you can trust though, that will switch with the load always present and fail to load. If you loose power, it needs to fail such that a load is always present on whichever amp is selected.
