I like where you are going with it, but frankly, there are a million other devices that do this and have done it..and for that reason, I am out.
I'm sorry but I have to say that I disagree with you about your comment. Yes, there are millions of other sound devices that act as a guitar processor. But only 3 or 4 of them in the market are pocket sized. They also need an intermediary such as mobile phones to fully function. There is none with a fully controllable touch-screen & easy interface. Also if you compare other devices with our product, you'll find out that Ceti is way above them with it's capabilities and functions.

Looks like you almost met your goal.
Wish you the best of luck with this product.
Seems like a decent price if you can bring it to market.
Thanks a lot. We've reached our funding goal today. Working really hard to bring Ceti to life!

Good luck. I’m one that’s for guitar technology advancing

That there unit is ugly. Rounded corners? I was expecting a floor unit similar to Eventide unit, but better, improved upon. This unit looks to be geared for amateur players, not dedicated advanced players who have tried it all and are looking to simplify their set-up. That's what I'd want, not this toy.

From the demo I'd say it sounds similar to crap.

You expected a floor unit in a thread titled “pocket sized”?

Well, if you took one of those Zoom multi fx stompboxes and added a headphone you'd essentially have this. That could technically count as a floor unit.

As you can read from the description on our campaign page, that's a prototype unit. We didn't fully develop the effects & amps emulations because we haven't received our processors yet as we are waiting for the crowdfunding to be successfully over. And for the aesthetics, what you see is an early model. The design and the looks of the unit will be better with high quality materials once we start our full production.

To be honest, if you were a good musician and a guitar player, you'd be more supportive to startup companies trying hard to develop new technologies for the guitar community.

Kind regards.

I could see this being good for a little travel amp and guitar for hotels or maybe in the living room just messing around.

I'd toss it in the back of my lil peavey combo I keep in the living room.

After this reply i sure won't be supporting you at all. And making sure to tell everyone to stay away. Who wants to support a jerk start up that gets butt hurt and attacks one of our good members basically calling them a poor musician over a little criticism. Come back after you dust the sand out of your vagina.

Criticising and insulting are two different things. If someone makes a constructive criticism it's perfect, but if someone directly insults a project without even reading the given information, that's just wrong.

I watched the video. I looked at the specs. I thought about it for a day and I almost didn’t post back but I thought you’d like to know that I was not into some thing that was a toy. You will find your “yes” men over at the gear page, that bunch of faggots will lick your butt for you if that’s what you want. At Rigtalk you’re going to get it straight from the guys that actually perform with the gear and that thing you got is made for a little girl sitting on her bed playing her Daisy rock guitar. Come on admit it, your ads show a bunch of wannabe players.

Actually, you should be embarrassed by posting that thing here.

As far as being a real musician, I did have to throw in the towel at 30 when I bought a house, got married and had a child on the way but up until that point I was a full-time musician.

Well, this is constructive criticism and thank you for your feedback. You actually made a good point on how to advertise for the right audience with your reply.

I'm not embarrassed to post our campaign on Rig-Talk because we will continue our crowdfunding on other platforms and with this kind of criticism, you showed us how to prepare our advertisements accurately. This is what I expect from real musicians, criticising a product in the right way to help manufacturers make their product better.
And yes, I admit that our product is not perfect yet as it is just a prototype with limited functions which was built with a limited budget but we are working really hard on it and continue developing it everyday as the funding goes on.

Congratulations on the new little addition to your family! Wishing the three of you all the best.
And at some point, I really hope that you'll continue rocking from where you left!
