However, you should rather do a better job matching the tone and not just the settings.
The 1st sample sounds very subdued and dark, and the second one WAY too offensive, almost harsh, especially in comparison.

The intention of the video was to show the differences/similarities, with the same settings.

when i tried the pod hd 500 for a week, it sounded like high end fizzy shit.....so i say the second clip is pod because of the highs.

Yeah, I have the PODHD500...
Recorded half my tracks with it.
Then the other half with a 6505+ head.
Now I have to go back and re record those fizzy pod sounds...
Lesson:RECORD WITH REAL AMPS WHEN RECORDING ANY KIND OF DISTORTION.
With that said, I like the clean sounds from the PODHD500. They're actually really good.
