You sir, have NOTHING to apologize for.

You have gone FAR beyond anything necessary to give everyone here an opportunity to win an awesome piece of gear, which you could easily sell and use the money for something worthwhile.

Giving us this opportunity is incredible, and you have no reason to apologize to any of us.

Knowing now to spam the votes should have been natural, not your job to lay the rules out. You expected everyone to behave accordingly. Sadly, things didn't work out quite as you wanted them too.

No matter what happens, this was VERY cool. Thanks a lot man :rock:

Bro, why are you apologizing? You're GIVING somebody a cab!! :lol: :LOL: In the end it's still your decision where it goes, poll or no poll. I just think it is VERY cool of you to do something like this.

Good idea. I think you should find a backing track you like and have them improv over it. All 3 guys, same backing, ready, set, go! :)

I can try to get something together today. I've got a horrible headache, but I'll try.

Really, I think crowned should get the cab. His video rocked, and he won his votes legitimately.

Should the new video be a cover, or just some jamming? Jamming would be easier for me in this condition.

I'm glad you came out and said this, because I was just thinking about it, and I also think Crowned should get the cab for multiple reasons. One, he's a long time contributing member. Two, I think he put more effort into the vid than the others by putting on a show (which I, and most of us would have been way to embarrassed to do :D ;) ). Three, he's a great player, obviously. He's posted quite a few vids before and allways rocks, (Savatage rules :rock: ). Four, he's also giving it away to somebody that needs it! And that's very cool as we all know. And lastly, the vote thing that Casey mentioned.

I agree with all of this. His video was the most fun to watch. My first 20 takes of my video were me putting on a show, but using the built in web cam on my Mac made it quite difficult to capture it, so I ended up sitting down, which I didn't want to do.

I am up for jamming over a backing track if that's what is agreed upon. Sounds like a good time to me, for sure. But overall, no matter how much I want that cab :lol: :LOL:, crowned deserves it outright.

I agree. Casey, your vid was great as well(my personal favorite)although I am a huge OPETH fan. :rock:

But Crwnedblasphemy did get the votes and also made a great video!
If I had 2 cabs I would send one to both of you guys.

:confused: I just got up to date on the happenings here. :cry: Too bad the kid showed his age with his decision to drum up support on another forum and in a completely inappropriate way. :no: But on the bright side if the country survives the kid will always have a job as a politician. :lol: :LOL: But it's not too late for him to realize what he did was a line crosser and learn from his mistake. I VOTED FOR DAVE! I liked alot of the vid's but Dave's style of playing is right on target for me and his amp and guitar tone is the very definition of clarity. :thumbsup: I would ask for one christmas present early it would be a little' where do you set the dials at session' with Dave just to see if I could make things easier for myself come gig time. ;) You should let Dave in the next round IF THERE IS GONNA BE A NEXT ROUND. :yes: If not Crowned blasphemy gets my vote for all things considered. His playing, his attitude for the contest, and his generousity. He rocks. :rock:

This is cool that CRWND won! While I would have loved to have the cab, I feel that he put the most effort in and his playing was killer. Also, it seems that he didn't "cheat" to win.

When I did my vid, I literally had about 20 min left to think of a song, hook up my gear, and learn how to use imovie on my mac!
If a chance like this ever comes along again, I will most definately put more time into it and make a performance out of it. And maybe even shred too! :rock:
Anyway, thanks again for the opportunity!
 
Just out of curiosity, would everybody have still voted the same way if it wasn't stated he would give that cab to his bro? Seemed like some people were voting based on that the most. Not taking away from his ability to play at all, he's a very good player. And definitely not looking for a recount or redo. Just curious.
