OK, here's my first cut at an amp list. I tried to list what I thought were the most popular amp manufactures and their most popular tube amps (with the exception of the Line 6 and POD). Not included are modded versions...that's an entirely different thread me thinks.

Anyway, we need to keep the list as manageable as possible so lets not include every amp model under the sun...just the most popular. Please review the list and suggest additions or deletions.

This should be interesting.

I would include Engl. Maybe the Blackmore or the Powerball, possibly the SE.

You should add Elmwood M90 and M60 to the list as everyone and their uncle is getting them now. Look at all the Gear Page whores getting their mitts on them. I should have sold mine to Kurtstuff instead of selling him my Einstein....Now he got one from Josh. Probably traded the Einstein towards it. :D

It's a very nice amp-the M90- but not worth the price......IMO.
I am still waiting on my Cameron......I have a feeling that will be the amp I have been waiting for. Can't get away from the Marshall type tone. It's in my blood.

PRMike says you forgot Madison and Krank.

EDIT: Framus and Mako too.

I want to try and keep this list manageable by not adding every known amp. I added Framus, Mako and Krank, however, I don't think Madison is that popular. In fact, this is the first time I've ever heard of them.

Orange? Aren't there a few TT users here?

Also, I have an Engl thunder, not currently listed. Of course, not currently popular either. :)

i don't see laney on there either. :gethim:

Yeah, I wasn't too sure how popular that amp was anymore...I added it anyway. :)

i know they aren't that popular.. but the gh.. vh and aor's are pretty decent amps imho. :)

For Fender I would add Super Reverb, Deluxe Reverb, Twin Reverb, Bassman, and Hot rod series. That covers most of their main amp types as least for the blackface/silverface amps.

For Orange. Rockerverb series, Tiny Terror, OR series
For Marshall you gotta have the Silver jubilee, I don't want to call this model a JCM800.

I think you need to add a JMP and SL to the Marshall category, even a "plexi" too.

Cameron

Marshall Super Lead, and Super Bass
