Hi Guys,
Just picked up a new torpedo studio. For my first trial run I used my mini recto. In modern and vintage mode it works perfectly and sounded fantastic. When I put it in pushed or clean mode at lower volume levels (i.e., 12-1:30 o clock or lower) in reactive mode I heard a low pitched rumbling sound. When I raised the master volume above 2 o clock it disappeared. When I put it in resistive mode it disappeared. Also when I put it into 10w mode it disappeared. I saw a similar thread about a rectoverb 25 which is a very similar amp with exception of reverb and it seems it has something to do with the topology of class a amps. Just want to verify that this behavior is normal.
Thanks for your time,
Howie
