There are some very nice guitars in this thread!

For me, it isn't even close. I have owned many guitars before and since, but my number one Gutierrez is my favorite by far. If I could find another one that plays exactly like this one, I would be set for life

Actually got to spend a decent amount of time playing today. So once again I busted out my small collection of guitars to see where they rank. Played the Washburn N4 Nuno Bettencourt model all day as usual. I fired up the BC Rich Mockingbird Archtop Supreme. Looks killer. Super low action. Really easy to play. Sounds full and thick. Tons of sustain. Problem is it's heavy as hell and my back and shoulder was not liking it after only a few minutes. The Strat... actually after getting used to the Nuno it felt slightly bulky. The pickups seemed weak but clear. I really like the Strat but missed the power and upper fret access of the N4.

Long story short the Nuno is a unique guitar that may take a little getting used to but once you do... my other guitars don't get played much.

If you still have the stock Bill Lawrence in there swap it for a Bill and Becky 500 Xl , you will like it even more.

My KL explorer has been my favorite guitar for over 2 years now, AKA Darth-Vader.

nice man!! did you strip the back of the neck yourself? Did you oil the neck or use some kind of clear coat for a glossy feel? I've been wanting to do this to my LP but i don't know if i have the balls to

Thanks Man!
Nah, I bought it like that from a friend, who
had it professionally done. The paint & lacquer coats
were stripped to expose the natural Mahogany Neck.
No oil, or clear coat, just the natural Mahogany itself.....
very smooth. Plays like butter

This is not my number 2 but my go to guitar as it sits in a stand on my desk when I have to grab something, also my stunt guitar for slidding down mic stands.......

THIS is a sweet looking guitar. I like. Has to be the best looking Ibanez I've seen. Usually, I'm not a RG fan (it is an RG, right? what model?) but I could do with this fine example!

I love the guitar because, IMO, it looks so good, sounds great and plays great! It's a RGT3020FMDS and it was discontinued in 2005, I think.
