Are your 2x12's closed or open back?

The Soldano website states that all 2x12's are closed back, but I've seen them as open back as well.

Usually the taller 2x12's are open back and the shorter 2x12's are closed back. The recent 2x12 that matches the HR25 can be ordered open or closed.

The website is very vague about cabs. It doesn't mention anything about tall or short cabs and specifically states ALL cabs are closed back. Where do I find an accurate listing and info about cabs?

I just checked the site, and you're 100% correct. Huh. Mike must've eliminated the tall 2x12 from the standard line-up. For the heck of it, here's a shot I snagged from Blues City Music. It shows the short closed back 2x12 on the left, the tall open back 2x12 in the middle, and the standard 4x12 on the right...

Thanks for the pic! I really like the size of the middle tall 2x12. I found one for sale in excellent shape for $500 with the same alligator tolex to match my amp. I'm a little hesitant because of it being open back though.

I wouldn't worry, it will just project out from the back a little more, sound less focused and bigger, like an AC30 spreads out.
I'd grab it!
