Potential speakers phasing issue?

So i've got a 212 cabient that I am looking to put 2 16ohms speakers in. Looking to wiring them up in parallel at 8ohms, how ever I thought about also wiring them up with their own separate inputs at 16ohms each and then connecting those in parallel.

Question is IF I connect both speaker outputs from the amp to each of the speaker inputs, will that cause a phasing issue?

No. As long as both speakers polarity is wired the same as the other, you’re fine in parallel
