So I've got access to an Alesis ra-100... wondering if I can run my Kemper stage into it, and out to my evh 212 cab? Was thinking... 1/4" instrument out of KPA to Alesis, 1/4" speaker cable out to EVH.

The Alesis is rated at 100w@4ohm or 75w@8ohm per channel. The evh has (2) 25w greenbacks in it (swapped them for the original Heritage)

Not planning to run the alesis gagged open...probably barley push the speakers..but don't won't to go blowing my stuff up.

ETA: Speaker cab has greenbacks not the heritage speakers...

I run my helix into a quilter into a 2x12 and 4x12. Sounds great.

Sorry for high jacking your thread but how is the kemper stage working for you? I have tried a few modelers including the ax8 and they haven't done anything for me. If I buy one should I go frfr (headrush speaker) or poweramp and cab. Thanks

the kemper is fine...
my personal preference is the poweramp/cab scenario. the speaker cab just has some thump that is hard to get from a FRFR. now that said, if you got some coin to drop, i believe the Freidman, Kab (? Kempers FRFR), Line 6, whilst expensive (to me)...are glorified cabs, but set to be FRFR, with the wiring, speaker choices etc. what you get, and what works for you is something you'll obviously have to answer. i bought a EV-zlxbt-12...very nice FRFR...kept it for a bout a month or so, just sold it. sounds good, but it isn't a speaker cab. if i gigged...i may've been inclined to keep the EV, but kinda depends on the situation. but for me, i had not use for the EV.

so...that is why i'm asking for some incite about the Alesis and my EVH 212.... will i turn my 212 into a party favor if i hook them up?
