Ok been a while since I have posted…
I acquired a Mesa Studio preamp last October and finally got around to having it serviced.. looking into poweramp options…
How is the Synergy SYN-5050?
Im liking it because its a one space unit and 50watt should be plenty for live use…
Second and 3rd options is the fryette Ps50 mesa 50/50/2:50 and I am also curious about the duncan SS thing…

The Syn5050 is 100W bridged if you are running mono. It’s a great amp; very similar design to the LXII they are both Fryette designs. The PS2 and 100 are nice for mono power amps.

I like that the Syn5050 has a volume for each channel. Surprised to see the LXII only having 1 volume control. Having 2 volume controls allows you to go preamp-> 1 side of power amp -> reactive load -> other power amp channel -> speaker cab.

The Syn5050 is also cheaper, so for me I would go for that over the LXII

Look at a PA50 from KSR too. If I was going to choose it would be between it at the fryette Lxii. I own a Fryette PS2 btw
