I am going to purchase a power conditioner for my VH4 and am looking at two models. The Monster Power PowerCenter PRO 900(Black) and the Monster Power PRO 2500 Rack PowerCenter. I am thinking of going with the Pro 900 because I will only be using it with the VH4 and the Gmajor. Does anyone think that it is worth double the money for the Pro 2500?

If I were you I would honestly get a Furman power regulator/conditioner, why mess around with a 4000+ dollar amp, ya know. The Monster units are cool but you can't beat a Furman reg/conditioner. Might be a little more money but worth it, especially with Furman's warranty, like up to $40,000 I think?

FWIW,

Are there any other voltage regulators out there that are more affordable than the Furman AR-15 or the Furman AR-1215. I will be playing out live at alot of different clubs and do not want to fry my amp or my midi board. There have been alot of post about spike in voltage that cause the midi board to fry. I really do not want to spend $500 or $600 dollors. The Monster Power PowerCenter PRO 2500 states that it will stop high level of surge protection. It states that it has a 2775 joule rating providing the ultimate level of protection from surges. It also shows the actual voltage that is coming out of your outlet. The big thing is that I do not want to fry my amp. Will this accomplish that?

Yeah it should be fine. I don't really know of any other quality reg/conditioners however at least that I would trust, so sorry man. Monster power conditioners are good stuff though, so if thats what ya want then go for it. I would get the 2500 just because of the better filtering.

I use tripp-lite units in my studio & they are way better priced than monsters or furmans. LCR2400 is a good unit.

Pretty cool  . How hefty is that thing?

Pretty heavy, about 20lbs. I don't know if there is the same issue with monsters & furmans, but these things make very light humming sound(the ones that have line conditioner built in). Since sometimes I'm tracking with very sensitive omnis I have them placed outside of the recording room. Another setup I have with a line conditioner/surge/noise filter which has a surge/iso/noise filter unit plugged into it, which is in the recording room(double protection & noise filtering for Bogner & Diezel  ). If it's in your control room or you use cardioid all the time it shouldn't be a problem.

If you go into 500 & over range there are better units, if you are interested I'll keep on bullshitting... for now enough typing.

I have the Furman AR-15II and it's been excellent. In fact one venue we where playing was struck by lightning and the whole place shut down! All my gear was fine after that.

Cool. I have an AR-15II as well. Good to know it does what it is supposed to do. :)
