Power driver and Depth Control mods

Can anybody explain how each of these mods work? Are they off if turned all the way left or at 12:00? Obviously the depth has something to do with bass response, but more specifically how should these be dialed in? Thanks for the responses.
 
Depth is a resonance control. Add low end girth. The power drive is a negative feedback control. When up high it will have less bass and seem brighter and also seem a bit louder. Down on this control is warmer.
 
With these two mods, if you take all the negative feedback out, is their a way to not loose your depth mod or bottom end? I guess depth mod feeds back into the negative feedback circuit so...
 
I don't make it go that far. Your depth will still work.
