Ok so there are some single channel high gain amps Im interested in and was thinking of a way to get a clean tone in a live situation. Im not looking to use two amps but I do have a Boss MS3 that I can use with the 4cable method. If I had some kind of a clean preamp pedal I could use that for my clean tone I'm assuming . Anyone try this ? , any suggestions on what pedal to use for fenderish cleans ? I would basically be bypassing the preamp of the amplifier and using the power section only. Some may say to just roll back the volume on the guitar which works for kinda broken up pushed cleans, but its not always ideal for clean cleans. Any suggestions always appreciated, Thanks guys !

The only clean pedal know of is the AMT F1 which is supposed to be a fender clean preamp sound. There’s also the new AMT f-clean which has a tube in it.

I haven’t tried them but the other AMT legend preamp pedals that I do have, have a ‘clean channel’ which is kind of a generic fender clean with a fixed eq which I imagine must be similar, and it is very clean and quite pleasant sounding.

The Noble preamp pedal I believe has a Fender-type tone stack. Bass players go crazy over them.
