So canada has the most suicides. That's pretty common in cold, isolated, economically and politically repressed places. High levels of boredom and depression there I bet. Surprise, I looked it up and it's a mid to top tier nation when it comes to being depressed. Weird since most Canadians suck at blues. What a horrible place to live.

I don't think that number includes self induced suicides.
Basically the Canadian government kills more of it's own people (through MAID) than the number of people killed on the streets by a firearm in the US. Not sure that's be a statistic I'd brag about if I were Canadian.

Very sensible considering they only have 30 million people and likely have the same birth decline the rest of the west suffers from. More than 63 million abortions have happened since Roe v Wade, twice the population of Canada. Imagine the additional tax revenues, the creativity and invention that would've been potentially produced, never mind the millions of additional families that would exist. The left loves death.

Yes I have. Canada is like a crappy version of the US. The northern US sucks and has high levels of depression and suicide just like Canada. It's tied directly to weather and politics. There are fewer opportunities for the people who live there thanks to horrible politics and big bureaucracy.

I'll admit to using extreme language in making my point. Were I more polite I'd have said something like
The US won't allow people to choose to end their own suffering in a dignified way at a time of their own choosing. Why? The reason is based in religious beliefs.
And I'll add,
Why is it "my body, my choice" when it comes to vaccines but it's "your body, my choice" when it comes to a dignified end to life?

Because putting the state in charge of health, or in this case, death, is a poor idea. Doctor's are notorious for trying to persuade people to do stuff they shouldn't. My sister had a downs child and the doctor kept recommending an abortion. Hospitals are meant to be places of healing, not persuading people it would be easier to die, and doctor's aren't moral authorities either. TLDR bad idea on a number of levels.
