Pretty Cool Jackson.....But WOW....Pricey!

Yeah, for a "Jackson" custom shop, that's about right. Not sure what Grover Jackson's go for though. Not a lot of chatter around those. I would venture to say it is as good, if not better than the Jackson custom shop builds as I have heard some noise around their QC as of the last few years.
 
Fuckin' retarded. ESP has those graphics out now for about a grand ?
 
I'd like to play one but I'll take an original Jackson based on looks alone
 
its a G2 not a Jackson, two different companies. that price is insane for either companies products imho ;)
 
I agree with all of you. I have owned USA Jackson's and played custom shop Jacksons. I'd never pay their custom shop prices.
 
I used to be a pretty big guitar collector back in the 90's....owned close to 400 electrics thru them years (Not all at once though) :lol: :LOL:

And yes....had a slew of ESP's.....Gibsons....Charvels...Kramer....BC Rich....USA Jacksons.....Prototypes....custom shops...
bought most of them used.....but never would dream that they would be fetching(or at least asking) for a price this high.
But its only worth what someone is willing to pay. ;)

NOTHING Mike Learn does is cheap. I was talking to John Levin of dokken and mike charged 2500 for the charvel he has with the skulls all over it. Awesome paint job but man!!
 
I remember when Dan Lawrence was THE GRAPHIC guy .....his guitars fetched a few grand back in the day. :thumbsup:

The graphics that ESP does on their lower end models are just that, graphics. Jackson USA Select and Custom Shop pieces like this are hand painted.
 
Learn is why its so expensive. He has been in demand for along time now so he can rake it in as he pleases. The demand for his work is there. He has a talent for sure. No different than allot of other artists who make it and charge big.
 
Everybody is willing to pay that for a John Suhr guitar. Why not one of these?
