The problem I have with any clip is usually..... people and I'll explain:

You put out a clip of an amp single Tracked....Someone wants to hear it layered .

You put out a clip with a full band backing and someone wants to hear it isolated:

you put out a clip that is Isolated..someone asks how does it sound in a mix and they want to hear it in a mix:

You put out a clip of an amp Multitracked: Someone wants to hear a single track:

you put out a clip with effects: Someone want to hear it dry.

And with any amp there will always be some fans of the clip regardless of what it sounds like just because of the name brand it carries.

I only say this half kiddingly but if you do a search on almost any forum where clips have been posted, you will see that there is Truth to what I'm saying.

All the Best.

Thanks Brother :)

Hope all is well!

I liked the tone of the module

Ralphie anytime you make a clip, as long as it's how you would make it sound live, it will kill! You use gain and some suace, and your tones always rock. Doesn't hurt that you have killer vibrato either. Long story short anytime someone makes a clip they might as well be themselves. If the listener is curious enough they'll eventually go check out the product for themselves. Peace.

Thanks for the Kind words brother Jim. The same can be said about you and your clips. You make the VM SCREAM like no one else!

With that said, That's what I was hinting towards. When it comes to clips and even musical performances It really doesn't matter what you do because someone is always going to ask for something different or have a difference of opinion.
It's all good! I just figured that Id point that out because it's easy to forget.

Very true, Gainfreak! And, for anyone who's curious how they recorded this, Pedro (the guy who recorded the clip) posted this on their (Salvation Mods) Facebook in response to someone asking about the recording procedure:

"I recorded the dry guitar tracks directly into my PC through Boss GT-PRO guitar processor's 24bit A/D converter (USB audio interface) [I was monitoring my playing / guitar sound through different amp at the same time]. Then I re-played the tracks through 'Camerock' mod in RM4 preamp connected in Boss processor's FX loop (which was acting as D/A - A/D converter again) and recorded the output of 'Camerock' mod. The actual sound of a speaker cab and mic comes from the so-called impulse response (which is a 'sound-print' of a Vintage30 speaker miced-up with a Shure SM57 mic in this case).
There are 4 rhythm tracks throughout the most of the soundclip.
I used Yamaha RGX guitar for the rhythm tracks and Ibanez RG570 with EMG's for the lead tracks, which is my favourite axe to record solos ;-)
I made my own version of the backing tracks [drums and bass] (which are part of the songs taken out of Whitesnake's 2008 and 2011 records) and mixed the whole thing in DAW.
There was no other equipment involved - the reamped tracks sound the same as if I were playing them through the module and it's exactly how the Camerock module sound in real life.
I''ll be shooting a 'tour de Camerock' video soon, so you'll be able to hear how the module sounds on its own while adjusting the controls...
It's undoubtedly the most tweakable module on the market and it can go from sparkling clean to absolutely crazy high gain insanity :)"

Loved it! Not a fan of the module thing but I really liked the song!

What Id like to add to my esteemed hetero life partner's very astute observations is that clips really need to be taken at face value. Until you actually play the amp in your environment be it you home studio, mancave or in a live situation with your gear, There are just way too many variables to make any kind of real judgement.

You can take the boy out of the 80s but you can't take the 80s out of the man.

Phil replaced Rik Emmett in Triumph back in the late 80s.

Too many layers of guitar and too much production to tell if it really sounds good. And the part where it breaks down to the single guitar sounded very weak, surely he's got the volume rolled way back on that part. Very interesting, but I'd like to hear an un-produced demo.

agreed. this same thought came to mind as I listened to that vid.

I Agree with what everyone said for sure... A Lot of processing. I was wondering... When he does that little accapela part with nothing else playing is that what the Module sounds like alone?

Anyways Processing aside... I TOTALLY DIG THE GUY'S PLAYING, AND I F'IN LOVE THAT JAM HE WAS PLAYING AWESOME!

Great Rythmm's and Leads with FEEL!
