Hey All,
I am throwing a couple guitars up for sale--some rare ones. I am just not a hollow-body guy, but the guitars sound great and are amazing looking. Both are limited 355s. I apologize for using stock photos, but I will update with the real deal soon. These are accurate to the condition as I have owned both for 5 years and they have been case queens the whole time--played no more than 5 times each. Both are stock I will also have retired Fender master builder Chris Fleming do a setup on them and any mods you want before shipping.
First is the Olive Drab 355: This is loaded with classic 57s and the neck profile is "traditional C"--what does that mean? Really like a 59. Comes with the brown case and all case candy. I believe only 100 were made. There is one very minor defect in the top I will get a photo of.
Next is the Shinichi Ubukata 355. This is a stunner, black with diamond F holes. This one has the MHS spec humbuckers. Comes with the black case with the candy skull emblem. Neck profile is really similar, in my opinion, to a 57-58. I believe only 275 were made and most were kept in Japan for the target audience.
Asking drop to 5k for the green (still available) and 7k for the black (sold)
Thanks all
