So I picked up a brand new TC Electronic Flashback delay pedal today and just now pulled it out of box went to look over pedal, went to click the on/off footswitch and it doesn't even click? So I had also bout a brand new visual sound one spot and hooked it up plugged into amp and the pedal wasn't coming on at all so I unplugged it from everything and saw that big battery cover screw on back and went to use a nickel to unscrew it and it's like someone monkey-wrenched that screw from the factory?! Anyone know what might be going on, it didn't come with any instructions?

Got it figured out, used a large screwdriver and got the screw to come loose, it didn't come with a battery. Popped new one in and the footswitch was clicking on and off. Don't know if I'm a delay guy? The mod setting seemed pretty cool, haven't got a chance to hook it up to computer and mess with the whole tone prints thing.

Yea the little flashback has deferent switch than what we're used to.

Give it some time, you might like it?

My Flashback has a latching switch... Clicks on and off for me.

For heavier stuff I'd suggest using the slapback setting just to thicken up your guitar sound if youre not a 'delay guy'

I use the Tape setting mostly with the Mod setting on cleaner settings. Make sure you set the internal switches to your liking. Buffered and kill dry switches if I remember.

I love that pedal. Sounds killer in the loop. Sorry yours has issues.

it doesn't have issues, it just didn't come with 9 volt battery and once I popped a new one in the footswitch started clicking on & off. I have yet to try it with my peavey 6505+ head but I got some issues with it and tube issues that need taken care of before I try it with it.

Sorry to bump an old thread, I'm just not digging this pedal.. The only effect I've ever used was for clean sounds and that was a Boss CH-5 Chorus Ensemble pedal I sold a couple years ago or so. I'm going to return the flashback to guitar center, I got the 2 yr extended warranty so I have 60 days to try it out. I don't need a lot of different chorus sounds just a good to really good chorus that works well in front of amp where it doesn't have to be in the FX loop.

I have been thinking about doing a small pedal board setup for some time now and I already have an original Morley Bad Horsie Wah, a stock made in taiwan Boss SD-1 and a Visual Sound 1 SPOT 9V DC Power Adapter I got when I got the TC so I was thinking when I go to take back the TC to GC (LOL!!) to get a MXR Zakk Wylde Black Label Chorus pedal w same 2 yr extended warranty and a Korg PitchBlack tuner pedal (w/2yr Warr.), what you guys think?
