Problem with HBE Big D

I'm french, I don't really speak English so sorry for mistakes (and sorry if my topic is on the wrong forum)
I've a problem with my HBE Big D
When i push the Boost button, the volume increase but i loose distortion
is it normal?

In the mean time you could try cleaning the switch with tuner cleaner which may solve the problem and save you from having to ship it to Joel. Its worth a try.
