Pretty happy with the results. On the Budda SD80, we did studio, direct and merged profiles. The direct profiles react like the amp...turn up the volume and it sings!

The Roland obviously couldn't be profiled with the chorus engaged but we added a vintage chorus from the Kemper that sounds really nice. 2 really cool amps!

Sounds interesting...you seem to be up on this stuff, so what's the difference between a studio and merged profile under 3.0? I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around that for some reason (haven't upgraded my firmware yet).

A studio profile is the amp, cabinet and moc together as one profile. A direct profile is the amp head only. You use a direct box to separate the cabinet and there are no mics. You can then merge the direct head profile with a cab from a studio profile so that if you use a traditional guitar cab on stage, you only get the amp head sound and no artifacts from the studio cabinet profile. This also allows you to send the full profile through the main outs to FOH so the audience hears the actual mic'd up profile.
