I took a 5150 and a dual rectifier rackmount head and Kemper profiled them at the same time - 5150 was with a custom Randall cab loaded with EVH sheffields, Mesa was into an oversize V30 armor recto cab. Used a Heil PR20 on the 5150, Audix i5 on the recto. When Them Bones was originally recorded, they used a 5150, Dual recto and a Bogner. I can only do two at once, so I did the 5150 and recto. :) I used a Les Paul Standard faded flametop for this, stock burstbucker pro pickups.

That was beefy as hell, and pretty much right on! This thing is so friggin cool. Nice job, man!

Thanks! Wish I had a way to do THREE amps at once, if I blended in my Bogner Ecstasy half stack I think it would have been a bit closer. Heck, I probably could have EQ matched it and gotten closer, I was just happy with how beefy two amps at once sounds. Now the huge dilemma - do I profile two Marshalls at the same time, or maybe the Bogner and the 5150, or the VHT and the Fortin, or Cameron and the Fortin... :D

I'd like to hear opposite end of the spectrum amps....high mids vs low mids.....like the 5150 and the Fortin. I think that'd balance out and be huge.

That's kinda what I did, but the recto was the lower mids. I know the Fortin has even lower mids, or at least more lows than the rectifier, so yeah, those two would be like peas and carrots. :D

Couldn't you take that profile of the 2 and then run it through a board with the Bogner?

Sounds

Wow! Never really thought of profiling two amps at once!!!!! Sounds great!!!!

Always pushing the limits, Pete. Well done! Sadly no Kemper anymore here, but thankful I had a few of your profiles when I did. They are the best!
