I payed 500 Euros incl. shipping, then I have pay tax = total 629 Euros.

Is that import tax + VAT ??

I've been lucky once, when I bought my rackwah factory direct. Cheapest I could find in Europa was 1300 euros in Germany somewhere. Aparently it flew by customs without noticing so in the end I paid less than 600 euros including shipping...

Giga.

Yup. 19% + 3.5% (for musical instruments). With 5/6 guitars from Japan/US I was lucky twice. Not a bad ration overall :D

Olaf, I like your integrity and appreciate that you pay the taxes due instead of sneaking a way around customs! You`re the man!

Well, also I`m sure shelving out the tax on this deal wasn`t that hard... congrats!! ;)

Compared to what I'm paying to the government, the social security and the church each fucking month this stuff is peanuts of course :D

Hi Moritz !

Hi Moritz !

Yeah, that`s how a lot of people justify their way around the law. I found some old pics of out meeting after the Musikmesse, good times and awesome tones!!! I`m still saving up for my Einstein, hopefully I`ll be able to buy one by March next year after I finish university...

Prost down to Marburg! :)

i like looking at their vids...i totally forgot they sale gear

I've dealt with them. Great customer service and communication. I had an issue with a pedal not working properly and they got me all squared away with a different one without hassle.

Shop is great, I can recommend it/them. Thanks everybody for the comments/experience.

The Hellraiser Sunset arrived safely last week. I didn't have too much time with her (was busy finishing this:

not sure if I posted that yet

I need to get familiar with the EMGs though . . . they are a bit on the bright side too. The Floyd works pretty well (original, bit better than in the Sunset Dlx) - I've installed into both this though:

The Hellraiser has the typical Schevetr C1-Floyd neck. Not too slim, not too thick, right in the middle. Completely different to the cheapo Sunset Deluxe with its natural maple/rosewood thing (not painted - or whatever that is spelled), which I like (because of that) a bit better, although the size of the Hellraiser is more familiar for me.

Well, thats the "news" gearwise for this week :D

I need to get my ass in gear looking at that pic.

Very cool about the guitar Olaf

Send it here, Scott. I'll finish it and convert that to a three channel pre like the one in the pic - with loop, so you don't need to buy a mixer or run them in series, you know . . .

No. You need to watch some more Proguitarshop videos and that line gets implanted in your head.

I don't wax my guitars anymore...I just tie them to my bumper and go out cruising. You need to get your facts straight Scott.

(PS: Dan was poking fun at the guy from proguitarshop.com....all of his pedal demos are usually done with a G&L Legacy through a 65 Amps Soho)
