I picked up this PRS back around 2010 .

It was my 1st PRS , and I bought it off a friend who found it in a pawnshop out of state.

I wasn’t familiar with any PRS offerings at the time, and I thought this was a regular Standard 24 offering.

This is actually a ‘88 PRS “Special “.

I’m assuming this one was somehow custom ordered, because it differs from the Special in that it doesn’t have the middle single coil pickup.

Here are specs of this model that was only offered from ‘88-‘91, and died with the birth of Grunge

that’s pretty, PRS’s look so much better without those buzzardcock inlays
Thanks RU4H

I agree with the birds, as I actually prefer moons.

My 2 other PRS guitars have birds, but I got such amazing deals on them, I had to take them Birds and all.

Thats a PRS I'd be happy to own, played a nice blue one once, sounded good, but too "pretty' for my taste..... Shallow I know!

This is definitely not one of those fancy colored quilted/flame tops that PRS is known for.

I LOVE that color. Really unique with that trem carve.
I’ve had my share of PRS and I enjoyed most of them.

Thank you gtrwun , and thanks for setting me straight on this forum.

No more necro for me.
