Curiosity us what you guys could suggest for a few guitars?

PRS CE-22 and maybe an LP Standard.

For whatever reason I tend to like humbuckers with some heat. Even though my amps have plenty of gain, higher output pickups have a feel and tone I enjoy and works for me.

My PRS Singlecuts have a Wolfetone Timbrewolf which I love replacing my SC250 bridge pickup and a Suhr Aldrich replacing my PRS #7 pickup. I am happy with these.

My PRS S58 has 57/08s that I love but I also have a Wolfetone Fenris to try in the bridge slot.

I have an Aldrich in a Gibson Les Paul Standard but I may look for something les middy. Maybe an SSH+? Possibly another Timbrewolf - this pickup reminds me of a boutique Duncan Custom or Custom 5. I tried a BBQ, but wasn't hot enough for my tastes. The Aldrich is the best I've found for my LP at this time. I used a Timbre Wolf years ago in a 1994 LP Standard and loved the results.

My 1994 PRS CE-22 has a PRS Tremonti in the bridge. This guitar is bolt-on design with trem bridge, alder body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard.

I like it but even though PRS claims it is a dark pickup, it has a lot of highs, but not harsh. Its huge and full sounding. I've heard comparisons online to the Duncan JB and a few others. The Alnico magnet pickups sounded warmer than the Tremonti, even though the Tremonti sounds big and full. I'd love to keep the EQ and tonality but maybe warmer. The Timbrewolf in mySC250 replacing the SC250 bridge sort of did this.

Thanks!

Man, I hate to sound like a ToneNerd fanboi but the Roxy just sounds right up your alley.

What's it like? I'll message him again. I like full, balanced, hot but warm pickups. I'm the same way with speakers, in that I don't like to paint myself into a corner with pickups or speakers that have extreme EQ spikes and curves. I stopped using V30 speakers and am very happy. With pickups, it's still a mixed bag for me, but mostly high output.

I also looked at the Motor City Afwayu.

Actually the Whiskey sounds good too. I'm tempted to try one in my LP Standard and the other in my PRS CE-22! Is one darker than the other? My LP is bright.

The Roxy is more aggressive and tight whereas the Whiskey is my touch sensitive and has a better feel under the fingers

Check out the various '70's/'80's Bill Lawrence's (L90, L100, 500L, 510L) or vintage Mighty Mite 1400

Whiskey - LP Standard (replacing Aldrich)
Wicked 8 for CE-22 (replacing Tremonti)

This is my thought. I'm not getting rid of those other pickups as I like variety and now and then it's fun to switch it up! :)

Had Mesa V30’s?

Yes - nothing wrong with V30s, I've just settled on my preferences. Redbacks, Creamback M65s and CL80s. I do have one cab with Mesa V30s/Redbacks. I didn't hear a big difference with Mesa and normal UK V30s. My Splawn 412 has Redbacks, with one UK V30 and one Mesa UK V30. I have an extra Mesa V30 sitting around that I could pop into this cab but doubt I'd hear a difference.
Personal preference. Oddly I also no longer have EL34 amps, although I've thought about converting my Bogner 20th Shiva from KT88 to EL34 (E34L or 6CA7) and my other amps from 6L6 to EL34. But in modern amps I don't find power tubes make a huge difference.
