My uncle used to play electric guitar when he was younger, but hasn't really played guitar in years and if so, only on an acoustic.
Now in his 50s he decided he wanted to start again, and although I haven't played one of these myself, I had heard good things, so told him to get one of these. He should have it by tomorrow and I will get to play it friday, and I'm looking forward to being impressed.
Your postings have just confirmed what I already thought was a good deal.

My friend owns a music shop that carries both the SE's and regular PRS line, as well as Hamer and Schecter. He kept telling how awesome they were, what a great bang for the buck, etc. and I just kept saying "yeah, yeah, whatever. It's an MIK guitar, probably not much different than an LTD or Schecter".

Well, after playing the Korina, SE24th, and SingleCut trem, I've gotta say they're definitely better than any other MIK guitar, and even better than a lot of MIJ guitars I've played. Quite impressive what they're doing. What's interesting is Line 6's new Variax guitars designed by James Tyler are also being built in that factory, IIRC.

very lovely, I had bad experiences with a single cut custom 22 a few years ago and have avoided everything PRS> your new toy looks sick tho, post some clips after you drop the new pus.

It's been said that the ultimate in sophistication is simplicity -- i think that guitar punctuates that pretty nicely -- hngd!
