How is that a guitar? It has 4 strings and looks like a bass.
Wes has used 4 string baritone guitars for songs like Nookie (tuning is F#, F#, B, E), so I'm guessing this is a similar idea, but with 2 output jacks if I'm interpreting the labels in the picture correctly. I'm guessing the idea is to be able to run lines to both a guitar and bass amp. Not sure if this is to add versatility to an instrument that can effectively function as both and you can toggle between modes, and/or actually be able to run both at the same time (the former would make more sense to me).

Wes was a monster guitar player. And innovative. May not be what most of you guys like though.

I like it.

I assume Lemmy would too

FOR REAL.
Ever since I saw this…
I sat back and kinda wiggled my fingers into fists..,
I need to get my hands on that thing.
Seriously thinkin’ of commissioning Dunable to
custom build me a replica.
-F-it, I’m gonna do it.
Ya know.., I was wondering how Wes got the guitar
to sound like it did on that record.
The Nookie song main stabbing octave-like riff, etc’s.
No dude’s I didn’t do shit for the Nookie..
Y’all need to take that up with Fred Durst.
-and Wes needs to stop wearing those panty-house ‘gimp-like’ outfits,
-Without John Otto they can all go eat crow.
Think of the cool shit you could do with that hybrid thing., it’s even got a wiggle stick for sub-low insanity.
Short scales bass guitars are dope AF anyways.
Now Paul Reed Smith, oh yeah.. he did it all
for the Nookie!, this thing will prolly’ be $6k
thru’ PRS.
