The Mad Axeman makes his way back to the Big Apple Saturday April 4th. Im stoked because the fruitloop bailed the last 3 times I bought tix to see him. I hope hes sober because when Mike is on, holy crap is he on but when he isnt, it isnt pretty...

Awesome Kage, I hope he's on that night!!!! I was lucky enough to see him in Hollywood on the last tour before he fell apart - he's definitely still got it as long as he is clean!

I am going to the Detroit show, I can't wait. I haven't seen him since '92. I have a bootleg from a German show this past summer. I have heard better from both him and Barden, but maybe he will be on when we see him.

I am going to the Detroit show, I can't wait. I haven't seen him since '92. I have a bootleg from a German show this past summer. I have heard better from both him and Barden, but maybe he will be on when we see him.

I downloaded this crazy MS discography not too long ago, 55 albums!!!! it had some really neat stuff that I didnt have like him live with Uli Jon Roth doing covers and a bunch of other cool stuff... I worshipped him when I was younger and Ive fallen in love all over again..

It was 2007, May I think. It was days before those videos of him hit Youtube where he sounded so bad. I was shocked when I saw those, 'cause I had just seen him be killer!

Sounds like what I've been going through with him lately as well. I joined guitar101 boards (bootleg forum) and D/L'd a lot of UFO and MSG stuff. It's been great listening to all of these different shows. I've been playing along to him on my guitar almost every day for the last three weeks. It's gotten so bad, that I've started to lose strength in my pinky. It's great fun though, I love his style so much.

whats not to love Bro? IMHO, when it comes to melody and phrasing, the guy is easily in the top 5 of all rock guitar players. Seriously...

Maybe I will check this show out! I've become a recent fan but love his work. I haven't listened to a ton of his solo stuff, but LOVE the UFO era. Sick vibrato as well.

ugh, just bought tix. Said a Friday the 13th special for $13 - by the time Ticket Master got done with their fees, still $25 a ticket ! Oh well, I guess it could have been $40 a tik.
