Here is the Aldrich. Its a quick crude clip. Its super versatile.

I like my Marshalls a little browner & warmer sounding.

Im hearing more John Norum than Doug Aldrich.

This amp can easily do the brown thing. It has two 3-way switches on the back that change voicing and gain levels. It also had a 1/2 power switch on the front that brings it into that sweet spot. The presence is also push/pull for a different voicing and is actually wired to be an adjustable negative feedback knob. What's nuts is it can go from a great hard rock sound to a tight modern sound. No need to any pedals to tighten it up for modern metal. It also has a metro loop.

Late 1983. It's a 2C upgraded to 2C++. 100 power transformer, non-simulclass. Loaded with Chinese C8's and Sylvania 6L6's. The amp is killer.

I gave up trying to record C+ clips with my phone for that very reason. It always overloads the little speaker and never comes out right for me.
