I try to play everything every day even if its for only 10 minutes per amp. And going from amp to amp in that sequence you mentioned is exactly how I hear things with my rigs.
I do know that as much as I love the Marshall mids, I think I like the Mesa/Marshall thing that MC does, because the perfect amp for me would be a mix of the two.
I tend to try to add upper mids to a Mesa, and drop the mids to 2/3 on a Marshall. Lol
