Hey Guys,

I want to add an FX loop to my 2204 clone that i built.

I have a schematic for a parallel loop and all the parts ready to go.

My question is: What would be the best type of board to construct it on?

I have seen this http://www.maplin.co.uk/stripboard-1918 or there is the tag boards that Cornford and Vox use like http://www.ampmaker.com/store/images/tb03a.jpg

Anyother ideas of what would work best, if anyone else here has done this i would love to see some examples

Thanks!

Save yourself the headache and get a metro loop! They are awesome and i didn't hear much of a tone change if at all and I'm a picky son of a bitch!

I have considered that, but i want to try it myself. Also i would prefer a tube buffered loop rather than solid state.

I may end up going down that route, see how it goes.

With a socket, two jacks and one of these (or two, one on each side of the socket) you should be fine . . .

Awesome, i will have a look at that.

That would be ideal as wouldnt take up much space!
