Hey all - just got this G&L Asat Classic and I am having a blast with it so I decided to do a quick vid. I am playing through the Evil Pumpkin and getting killer low gain tones, this amp continues to amaze me after owning it for 2 years now. Anyway, enjoy. Let me know what you think!

some really good sounding stuff! you know i likes me some tele :)

Very cool Jason! I dig the new guitar and new logo.

Yeah man, glad you are still finding some new and useful tones in the EP.
Keep digging, there is more in there

Cheers,
Mike

Are the power and output transformers stock Marshall in your Fortin Evil Pumkin SLP?

Amp sounds killer!

Way more diverse than I thought, both the player and the amp

I have been having a lot of fun playing with low output pups through the cali lately, need to post a clip up soon.

Thanks, man. You're from Kentucky! You HAVE to love some Tele action, it is mandatory!

Thanks, Scott. Looking forward to the clips.

These pickups in the G&L are incredibly awesome. I A/B'd it against my Jap Tele with BKP Piledrivers and I prefer the G&L by far. They have a ton of output, too, but retain every bit of Tele twang.

Very nice playing & tone. How does the G&L compare to a Fender Tele?

I've loved all your clips!!!! The tones are awesome and your playing is smooth and just as awesome man!!!! Great job!!

Sounds really good man. What Fortin mod is that?

Is that clip just the amp and 4x12s?

Excellent playing, as usual. I always know what to expect when I open one of your threads.

The tone.... Fortin all day long baby!

It's really hard to beat Mike's amps... look at all the fantastic players who own them. That is a real testament to tone :D

Compared to the last USA Tele I had this is snappier and the body and neck are more resonant. I can tell just by strumming an open chord unplugged. The guitar vibrates more.

Yup. Guitar --> Amp --> Cabs

No fx or pedals of any kind.

The mod is Mike's Hulk mod with a couple extra things added like dual bias controls, dual gain voicings, and a bass shift. It is a super hi gain metal monster but also capable of much more as seen in the vid. You can check out my metal videos if you are interested in that side of the amp here: https://www.youtube.com/user/killertonetexas
