As the community continues to mourn the lives lost and the families forever scarred from a Stockton mass shooting at a 2-year-old's birthday party, no updates have been released in the manhunt for the shooters.

Four people—three of them children—died, and 13 others were injured after gunfire broke out Nov. 29 on Lucile Avenue at Thornton Road as partygoers were set to cut the birthday cake.

Remember Amari...... Straight A student, top level athlete who played basketball and football with the whole world and a very bright future in college ahead of him taken away by senseless violence and a deranged individual.


He was only 14 years old.

From everything I have heard, yes. Rapper MBNel and the Filipino crip set he is affiliated with were the targets, specifically MBNel

On Saturday, a suspected gang-related attack erupted at a children’s birthday party, leaving four dead and more than a dozen others wounded.

Three children, aged eight, nine, and 14, and a 21-year-old man were killed, with an additional 14 people injured, when gunfire erupted as the birthday cake was about to cut.

Patrick Peterson, the grieving father of victim Amari Peterson, 14, told KTVU he said it appeared the shooter was aiming for rapper MBnel."
