Putting a single coil in a humbucker slot

What would you recommend? I've recently bought a 7 string and want single coil spank but not coil tap. It's a 7 string which also makes things interesting:

I know you can buy shitty looking little plastic covers with a single coil route that fit in place of a bucker. Not sure if 7 string versions are available, but you could make one yourself out of a pickguard or cavity cover if you're handy

Not sure if they make them in a 7 string, but a humbucker sized P90 is another option

Try a dimarzio single like they used in the Jem universe and screw it right into the cavity

I know they make pickups for 7 strings, and I know they make tele single coils in standard humbucker form...so maybe they'll do a special 7 string version for you?
