So I'm looking into some high gain Plexis, and this amp was mentioned. I'd like another Ceriatone Yeti, or similar. Landry was another contender. I'm looking for a brown sound, but punchier, tight, and more dynamic than say, a Splawn. Love my Engl Artist, and plan to hold on to it, just want a Plexier flavor that can still bring the heavys.. Again, like a Yeti, or similar.

Not quite plexi but can certainly get into the territory. Have you ever checked out the Deliverance? Tight, Punchy and Dynamic are the adjectives Id use for the Deliverance.

Too dry, and not a fan of KT88's.

I'm interested as well. PWE Event Horizon vs Ceristone Yeti, Chupacabra, King Kong. I have a KK on order and probably won't get it until summer or fall.

I tried a PWE at GC a couple times. Wasnt a fan. Just didn’t do anything for me. Sort of bland.

Agree with above. Bought it and returned it right back to GC.

I had a 3 channel PWE Event Horizon. I would also go with a Landry or Ceriatone.

Your answer is in your question...order another Ceriatone. Solved.
