Until they get the cloud organized the only real way to find the good stuff right now is word of mouth.
THese are RT member suggestions.

- BluesBreaker 1 thru 3
- Brit 2555 Lead 25
- Fortin Sigil Gain2 Heavy
- Mesa MkIV Red Ch
- Splawn Nitro
- Supro 1606 (all 6 captures are great)
- Bogner XTC 101B (multiple captures)

Cool. Quick note about the Supro. There's a total of 6 captures and all sound great.

I ordered mine on Jan 7th and got it last week. I was going to cancel it as I have most of the amp tones I want now and Im not a big effects users. When they said mine was ready to ship I made a split second decision and kept my order.

I'm glad I did. This thing is fun as hell(I've owned a Kemper and an HX Stomp). Im going to try and capture my Mark IV sometime this week. If I could reproduce the tones on it as they have done with Marshalls, 5150's, and Dual Recs I would be fine with selling it.
 
How DARE you not have my Fortin Hex capture listed...

No but I will when I get home. I am going to do 1 direct and 1 with cabs. Just need to decide which one. I am also going to do a matching preset with my preferred QC cab for the direct one. Many of the cabs are "meh" and one thing is for sure with the Fryette stuff for recording. It is VERY picky about speakers and cabs.
 
have you loaded any IR's yet? I have some laying around but havent gotten around to adding them

I had some favorites from when I was using plug-ins.
I made a preset of all the good stock 4x12 cabs along with my IRs

Shitload of A/B-ing and ended up with the stock Brit 71 sounding best with
all my presets. I did change both mics to 57s which I think really improved it with
my cab - 1 x 12 Scumback M-65.

I've never owned or played a real SLO so my only reference right now is the stock lead channel in the Quad.
Had spent a few days really dialing in a great tone with it.
I guess the fact that I was able to easily match your capture to my model with minimal tweaks
has to count for something.

Hope you shoot a few more or at least a couple with gradual increases in gain and girth.

Will get back on the others.
Here's to hoping you get the capture bug and do your entire collection!

Just uploaded a preset that has both my full capture as well as a direct capture with paired QC cab. Has a few scenes and stomp assignments.

You’ll need my Fortin Hex capture as well

That's the whole reason I bought the thing! Lol. I will certainly mess around with the capturing more. I set the amp up how I would play it through my cab but I also don't play with a ton of gain or low end so my captures won't work for everyone, and making a few different profiles for each amp might be really cool.

After some more messing around I ditched the stock QC SLO preset for your capture.
Did bump the gain up by 1.5 on it for reference.

Where yours really excelled was when I did nothing but turn the volume down
on the guitar little by little to see which sounded more articulate.

Your capture won this pretty convincingly.

Your other two were also stellar in the same way.

Will be keeping a close eye on your cloud sir! :D

I'm going to try and capture my mark iv this weekend and probably my Caldera. I've downloaded quite a few horrible captures the past few days. I got one of the Randall satan and it sounds like a busted radio.

This thread is pretty useful right now.

I have been using tom Quayle's patches today. I have another one I think was from Rabea that is a 900 and a 5150 I think (I believe it's called Heavy mood) but it's my go to as soon as I start playing.

Kyle we need you to profile your Splawns. I'm kinda gas'n for one now.

I'll do a Splawn or two up tonight, Clint!

I did both the Purple and Red channels from my Revv Generator MKIII last night, so those are up and available under my profile.

I have shots of my settings for each capture, but not sure if I can go back and add them to the capture description after the fact?

JerEvil is already yelling at me because I didn't follow his format, LOL But I've been kicking out a couple captures when I have a few minutes to spare.
