Quality, inexpensive pedalboards and power supplies

Forever, I've been using a gator board and a 1 spot daisy chain for my pedals. I'd like to build something a bit more "professional", but not get carried away with the price. I play in a local cover band, and we play maybe once a month.

These are the pedals I'm using in front of my amp:
Boss TU-3 tuner
MXR Phase 90
Boss flanger
Dunlop Crybaby
Digitech Bad Monkey
Xotic Belle Epoch
Mosky XP booster

These are the pedals I'm running in the loop:
Ibanez DE-7 delay
Danelectro EQ

What would you guys recommend.

Check out Temple Audio. They have a planner to lay out your pedals and get an idea for what you need. You can even get modules to modify for your needs. Basically you can add as you can afford to. I have a cool board all wired up. I would post some pictures. I just do not know how to post pics anymore. I also use dual lock for pedals vs their pedal plates.

trutone (one spot) pro are great and won't break the bank.

I have a CS7 on one of my boards and its dead quiet. Make sure you get real isolated power. One giveaway that a PS is not isolated is if it comes with a wall wart to power it.

Following. Was planning to get a Chumleys board but I wanted to get everything else situated first. Looks like he just stopped producing again.

Most good boards seem expensive. West Coast, Friedman, Blackbird, etc.

I’ll Pro end up with a Temple Audio. I must have 1/4” jacks and Pedaltrain won’t cut it. Even a fully decked out temple Audio can get pricey too.

I also plan to get a 1Spot CS12. The cheapest/Best power I could find that has 18v taps.

WOW, those are the coolest boards I have ever seen by far. Is like a tool box for guitars. $1,200 for a pedal board though? GTFO. If I was dumb rich I would have one for sure.

Pedaltrain is really the cheapest and best way to go. Just watch ebay. You can get a used Pedaltrain with a Voodoo Pedal Power 2 Plus for about $200. If you need some in/outs just go here https://btpa.com/?target=search&mode=se ... &brandId=0
They have ton’s of accessories for Pedaltrain boards.

I made this board using a PT-2 and:
- cheap LED light strip from eBay that’s powered right off of the Pedal Power ($10)
- piece of plexiglass from the hardware store cut to size ($20). This makes complete use of the top’s surface area by allowing you to mount pedals anywhere you like and not just on the rails.
- mounted my own jacks ($20)

Other similar boards and features from other companies (i.e. Trailer Trash) would have cost 5 times as much. You can’t get a more durable/light/inexpensive board foundation than a Pedaltrain. I’ve used it at weekly gigs now for the past 2 years.

TBH the biggest reason I never got a PT was due to not being able to have in/outs.

It’s not a plate. I just drilled holes into the metal of the board. The older PT boards have a metal front panel, not like the open front of the newer boards.

Look at the link I posted, they have pre-made plates with the I/O’s for about $50. My way was way cheaper and cleaner looking though.

Temple Audio board and the Voodoo Labs Pedalpower 2 Plus. On the cheaper side a Pedaltrain board which is what I use.

I have used the BBE Supacharger for 7 years to power my pedalboard and it's still going super strong.
It got rid of every small noise my pedalboard had.
European voltage at the flick of a switch doesn't hurt either.
And cheap for what it is.
