Dude can sing, no doubt. I'd go see these guys before I'd see Tate's "version" or QR.

I really want to see them perform all the old stuff. As far as Tate, not so much. I want to see what new music Queensryche make with the new singer. Hopefully, it was Tate that killed Queensryche.

He sounds excellent!

Obviously studied the older Queensryche stuff and Tate's style because he has the nuances.

Can't wait to see a show.

That sounds great, looking forward to what they come out with.

I already have voiced my opinion on Tate.. i don't think he was ever that great of a singer and this song was horrible BUT this guy sounds better than the original.

Cool. I would like to see that band. Lots of great material over the years.

This is good...

Meh, he still struggles.... Tate is the originator, like him or hate him.

Thing is guys, everyone benefits from studio magic and being able to have a rested voice with 20 takes. Especially now where you can cut and paste vocal lines. None of these guys ever really sounded as good as the recording did they? A few guys could bring it but for the most part, many were inconsistent depending on the night I think. Not like these registrars are easy on the voice. I always think of Bruce on the Number of the Beast. Holy shitballs he hit some notes.

ps- i thought the dude above did pretty good given the high notes he had to hit

This new guy Todd La Torre probably doesn't live as dangerously as tate. I mean, does the guy even have his own wine?

Haha   . Thankfully, no. Nor does he have Tate's whine.

Good point. I also didn't see him make a single blind, 12-inch jump backwards on stage anywhere in that performance video posted above ("Eh, love that").

I think that he is doing a great job at replacing Tate and I'm stoked to hear what they will come up with. I feel that his replacing Midnight in Crimson Glory was a bigger feet, as Midnight had a much higher register.
