Do you think that they ever go to bed at night thinking "3/4 of the global population hates me?"
If I've done somebody wrong, it weighs on me and I correct it.

I think our ruling parasites are completely out of touch, and have no idea how much they're despised, hated, ridiculed, etc.

I think if they knew the truth about how the serfs view them, they would be incapable of believing it or accepting it. They would be in complete denial.

They are protected by armed security and their handlers, so when a serf manages to pierce their bubble and hit them with vitriol they can easily dismiss it as a crazy outlier.

I think they are surrounded by people who work for them who create an insulated bubble of delusional fantasy around them so they believe they are respected, loved, etc.

Finally, I think they are corrupt, malfeasant, feckless and self-serving and enriching themselves by using their positions, they really don't care...as long as they have their election machines in place to ensure their re-election.

It weighs on you because you have a soul and a conscience, they sold that long ago.. For less than you would think..
Honestly I think as long as they can hold on to power and use the system to benefit themselves, nothing will change.
I also think there is nothing they won't do to hold on to it. They have proven this to us 1000X over..
We will either change things in a relatively short timeframe or we are finished. So will it be for most of the world.
The problems we face are very similar problems to what other countries are facing. Some of them due to the party in control being able to
manipulate circumstances in such a way that they don't look like the ones who are causing it. In the case of our country, it is due to our own laziness and not holding these leeches accountable when we still could. Im as guilty as anyone else, I never paid any attention to it when I was younger but as long as I have been paying attention, I've been pissed off.. At both sides.. The weakness of people is both disappointing and infuriating..
The globalist's elites are swinging for the fences now and we are still trying to get the sun out of our eyes so we can at least see the ball..

If our country was unified, we could fix our problems in 3 election cycles or less. I'm sure we will all hold our breath for that to happen.

In Glubb's "Fate of Empires" no empire (civilization) was able to reverse its decline, there is always a point of no return. I'm not optimistic.

what's interesting is how he organizes the phases, and shows the common factors of each using different civilizations, in different locations and times...as you said the parallels are obvious once you see the symptoms/evidence he describes then consider what's happening around us today.

One thing he states is a concern, that all civilizations reach a point of no return - there may be successful attempts to turn things around but they are never permanent, and the decline / collapse is inevitable. To think the US, Europe, etc. will follow a different path is denial and hubris IMO.

The globalist's are counting on their weakness and will use them to achieve their means to an end. Some of them realize it and will play ball thinking they will be on the right side of the fence in the end, others are just clueless useful idiots. Everyone uses broad terms to describe their disdain for a given group, even within a political system. We do it everyday here in OT, but if we knew nothing about each other at a meeting of some kind and had a few beers, we would likely get along fine...

Working with Russians was a real reality slap for me. Those guys have a work ethic that puts all of us to shame. Very intelligent, but follow everything by the book. Funny. If a step is missing, they stop. Not because they can't think, they are freaked out over making mistakes. I still remember on a call with a few guys over there I said "that's just the tip of the iceberg." One guy responded, "what is tip of iceberg?" I spent a lot of time explaining American humor to them.

I got called one night because they were performing a database upgrade that failed. They said "what do we do?" I said "delete the database, so I can go back to sleep." "What you mean delete database?"

I think they believe they are doing the right thing, so all the people that hate them or suffer because of them are the 'bad ones' and they are perfectly justified. I think they view all the money they make as just a by-product of their good will and intentions. They are evil and psychotic.

I find this really, really disturbing. The amount of stuff online/social media that is completely sadistic and gleeful in watching someone die in horrible ways because they are completely dehumanized into various nicknames. That the neoleft will vilify people who acknowledge that most of the Russians dying over there are just normal people being forced to fight, or that saying you think the war should stop and peace treaties start is anti-American/pro-Russian and all this absolutely sociopathic non-sense is just insane.

There is basically zero nuance in thinking with most people in the West these days. You often find that people you peg as intelligent completely lack the ability to put themselves in others shoes, like they are programmed by politics which knocks their IQ down 50 points. You cannot even play devils advocate with them, you can tell them straight up 'let me play devils advocate here for a second' and they will react emotionally negative to YOU, not the argument. Extremely disturbing.

Well hate is important for our ruling parasites when they need the weakminded serfs to support undeclared wars to launder money, enrich themselves and their donors.

e.g., 20 years in Afghanistan to make the Taliban great again: build back better. leaving all that equipment behind means taxpayers have to pay to buy more...just like we're doing in Ukraine. Usually with the young kids they have no choice. The military is a means to an end to change their lives. GI bill for school and such. Va healthcare also. That’s not saying much but it’s better than nothing. Generational poverty is real. I see it and have lived it. Some people want to change, other people are to traumatized or fucked up to do it easily…and some people are just too fucking stupid to do it. I didn’t have running water or plumbing till I was 13. Cut, chopped, stacked and carried wood till I was grown. Raised a garden and the women canned everything. Hunted a lot also. We were tough though…lol. Makes you appreciate stuff more now. So some of these young people are using the military to escape nightmares. Food, clothing, buddies..plus benefits as meager as they are…it’s a win for them.
