Maybe I just post the email I send on here, so I dont have to write it all again

"Hey Dave,
I have a few questions regarding my rig setup. At the moment I play a 2nd-hand Marshall 6100 and I am in the process of putting together my pedalboard and the whole rig. I do like the amp for his cleans and the crunch sound, but the heavier stuff, especially the lead tone, is not that good. Even though I haven't played many amps so far, what I've been reading on the internet indicates that there are far better amps out there for lead tone. So now I am looking into some other amp options and found the Ceriatone amps, which have a great reputation on the internet and are quite cheap regarding that they are PTP and the qualtiy seems just superb.
Now I'm just not sure which one of the Marshall clones I want/need (as I said, its due to a lack of amp experience) and someone on the Rig-Talk forum told me I should ask you and you can actually mod any of the Ceriatone amps to an amp that will pretty much cover all my needs.
I was thinking about a 2-Amp-Setup with one Amp for the clean stuff and one for all the crunch/distortion stuff. Not sure if thats the best way to do it, I have also heard you can add a clean channel to an amp, but more on that later. Regarding my gain tones, I want to cover quite a wide range. I'm really digging the tone of guys like Slash, Frusciante, The Darkness, Gary Moore (especially his lead sound), Metallica, Mark Tremonti (especially his Rhythm tone, its just so heavy!). So it goes from mild crunch to really heavy "in your face" ryhthm sounds and singing lead tones. I'm really getting into using the volume knob to control my amount of gain and my sound, so a dynamic amp is really important to me! Is it realistic that I can have that mild crunch with the volume rolled back and then max the volume knob and maybe boost the amp with a tubescreamer and get that thick heavy Metallica/Alter Bridge sound without changing channel/amp? Or is this just really possible with different amps/channels? Which Ceriatone Marshall Clone would you consider do be the best for this task? I really liked the clips of the Chupacabra, but maybe one of the Plexis or the Silver Jubilee is an even better choice, you tell me?! ;-)
Best regards,
Timo P."
Hope dave can chime in on here or maybe someone else with a lot of experience can help me.
