Only thing you have to watch out for on the older models is the bias drift problem. Other than that, they sound great.

Man Lambchopper is awesome! Andrei has a JCM2000 DSL here is a video and he has his signal chain in the description. This guy could make a fender chug

I would grab it in a heart beat. Great sounding amps. If you start redplating tubes you will know you have the bias drift issue. TAD makes a kit to fix.
