Low volume. Greenbacks

There's so many ways to dial it in, this is just whatever it was at the moment. I hadn't used the Zoom in months!

Dont feel bad, Ive never even used mine once since I bought it LOL!!!

I think it sound pretty good. Is it tonally that different from the regular JVM?

I gotta tell you, I recently got a Creamback loaded cab and those speakers slay. They are supposed to be a 65 watt Greenback.

It's been years since I had the regular JVM.
From what I remember on the old one, the gain channels had TOO much gain. When you dialed the gain back this awfully bright bright cap came into play, thininning the sound out. There was no happy medium. The Satch has no such issues. I like the Clean and Crunch better than the old JVM too. The noise gates work well too.

I could live with that tone. I like it!

Thanks, not bad for a test. Not dialed in as good as can be, but maybe now that I broke out the Zoom cam I'll mess around with more samples

At least from what the Zoom captures that setting is too saturated or dark for what you're playing. The only snap on the top end I'm hearing is the acoustic string noise. I would definitely like to demo one of these but I won't hold my breath that i'll actually get to. Same for the YJM.

Sounds great. Dig the old school playing, all Marshall goodness.

Lots of channels and flexibility there. What's not to dig?

That amp gets lots of love on the Marshall forum.

Treble and Presence at noon. Tons of cut and bite available. I was trying to avoid too trebly a recording

I had a JVM, great amp. Yours sounds good! I liked mine through a G12T-75 loaded cab, have you tried one?

I've had Marshall cabs loaded w/ '75's in the past. I still use 2 Vintage Modern 4X12's w/ G12C for everything.
That said, the Satch head and the YJM head were designed using the 75's.

I like it quite a bit. Love your playing too.

Thanks! The playing I don't like   I never do well when I turn a camera on and I'm still getting used to the Satch Ibanez.

Nice lead tone, but IMHO rhythm is too smooth. Maybe it's just the recording. Imho it should be crispier, more raw, less saturated on riffs.
It might be the guitar, I had JS1000 and while I liked that singing-nasal-lead tone I hated complete lack of balls when playing rhythm, meh. It's nice guitar for rock but I wouldn't use it for heavy metal, metal etc. Also Greenbacks are quite warm speakers so that's a cccccccombo breaker.
