I read that you can run the first two effects to front end of your amp and the last two through an fx loop. Well and good... few questions though:

1) can you change the order of effects, or is it always fixed?

2) the effects that you send through the loop - instrument level, not line level, right?

Thanks in advance

Pete

bump, may be getting one locally at a decent price, so I'm a little time-constrained here. :) Thanks!

think of it as 4 blocks which hold 3 pedals each (only one can be on at a time). You can put the loop in between any of the four blocks. So you can have 2 blocks go ifo your amp and 2 in the loop as you say, or any combination. i.e. 1 ifo amp and 3 in loop, 3 ifo amp and 1 in loop.

1. change the order of fx? not sure what you mean. This is more of a pedal board as opposed to a multi-fx unit (like a GT-5). But it uses "scenes". You can program 12 individual scenes or 12 "virtual" pedalboards. So I suppose the answer to your question is no. Once a scene is programmed - thats how its programmed. As in 12 pedals on a pedal board. But you can program your 12 scenes anyway you want them.

2. not sure

1. you can change effects order and you can change location of which effects are in front and behind loop.
2. The m13 is instrument level but I haven't heard of any problems with line level loops, including my own xtc.

You can run any 4 fx in front or back or tou can but 1 in front or 3 in back, 2 in front 2 in back, 3 in front 1 in back or all in back using a 4CM. That can be 4 of the same efffect if you want or any mix of a the effects available. Yes you can change the order of the efx. I use a Suhr line out from my speaker cable that has a level knob and my levels are fine so dont know if that answers you level question.

EDIT: Doh! Dude above me beat me to it.

Thanks guys, I may check into this. I have a fractal standard, but I kinda like just having a pedal on the floor and no extra rack of stuff. Plus the looper stuff looks pretty cool!

Yeah I'm not into waging a rack around when I use a head or combo. So thats why I once had the G Gystem and now the M13. For some gigs I do a small WDW rig that I have two 1x12 Tech 21 Power Engines. Those have power in the cab. I went that way because I didnt want to put a power amp in a rack and have to to carry it around too because I was waging to much crap anyway.
