As an update on this.. I took my beloved '07 QR to a tech who has worked on many and has a good schematic and revealed NO mods were made to this circuit.. he did find one tube had a blown screen resistor.. so it was not working to full effect.. he also rebiased the amp a bit hotter. when i get her back i will see if she brightens up a bit..
