I hear you Todd.... tho he's gonna have to back up Ronnie James.. or at least sing the harmonies. Hope all is well..... Sucks, as we get older... we will see more of our influences, friends, and family fall before us... Blessed to have them all tho. Cheers
True on Ronnie!!!!! Not sure if Amy Whitehouse will find a spot! Kurt, Randy in. You are right on point brutha....getting older and watching people go is one of the toughest parts of living.
Just to be clear, Jimi Jamison is not the vocalist who sang on their 1982 hit, "Eye Of The Tiger". That was Dave Bickler, who left the band in late 1983 because of vocal problems. Jamison took over as vocalist in 1984.
Bickler is back with the band along with original guitarist Frankie Sullivan. Always liked Caught In The Game a catchy single. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmSt9n7uLs4
RIP Jimi J.

My good friend, Billy Ozzello, is Survivors current bassist. He's been with them on and off since the 90's, unfortunately not during their hey day.
I remember a gig in Kentucky when the keyboardist Jim Peterik and Frankie got into a blow out argument. Jim left the band very soon after.
Then another good friend, Chris Grove, joined as their keyboardist. A few years back he started playing with Eddie Money and that gig has been great for him.
Very steady work and good pay. Appears that Eddie is a good guy.
Bill and Chris also have a local cover band, Hessville Star, and that band rocks!
Great pro players in that band.
I met Jimi quite a few years ago, it's hard to believe he was 63. He looked good for his age.
