Damn, this bloke could pound the fuck out of a Rickenbacker.

OMG. He was one of my idols in high school.
I'm so bummed.
RIP

Thanks for the killer bass lines. See ya on the other side.

True innovator, loved his music. Way more than the typical bass player. He was the essence of YES. R.I.P

Chris was a huge inspiration and one of the major reasons my favorite instrument is a Rickenbacker 4001.

At their peak Yes was my favorite! I measured every other band by them. This is indeed a sad day...we have lost a true artist and inspiration!

R.I.P Chris Squire

I live in the same city as him.... Kent. I would run into him and a few of the other members of Yes once in awhile..... No one ever recognized them. Anyonercould walk up to them and start a conversation. These guys were always nice to me.

An epic loss for sure.

HOF is a joke...don't bother trying to figure that one out.

R.I.P. my Brother.

Saw YES around 91-92...think it was the Union tour iirc. Anyways, great live band and musicians.

And yes the HOF is a calamity of cluster-fucks. I enjoyed hearing Eddie Trunk getting lathered up yesterday talking about the HOF; his lament for how fucked up the loss of Chris is, coupled with nonregocnition by HOF. It's maddening really....

RIP Chris
